Okay...

So normally I don't post things like this on here, but I feel like I have to get this out on like every blog I own...

I really, really hate it when people just start bullying, harassing, and slandering voice actors online. Why? Because when you do so online, it's like, stabbing someone behind their backs.

What brought this on? The latest announcement of Vic Mignogna being casted as Rin for Free! Eternal Summer.

Okay, I have NO PROBLEM with Vic being Rin Matsuoka. Why? Because I can just picture Vic being Rin. How? Because I visualize and imagine his voice along with the character. Rin is a very emotional character, and I haven't seen anyone else do a very good emotional voice other than Vic in english.

However, I am hearing and seeing so much hurtful words against him. Saying that he is homophobic, and that he harasses young girls at conventions... These are just conjecture. I haven't seen this happen, and sure he may not like signing things that are BL/Yaoi, perhaps it's like what I've heard, that it is against his religion, but people...stop...please!

It hurts me a lot to see one of my favorite voice actors being ridiculed like this online. I can understand if you think it might be a miscast, but don't just start saying things like that out of nowhere without any evidence.

Whew...now that I've got that off of my chest... I think I'm going to go and... well, do something... ^^
